I now understand what people mean when they talk about the wet or rainy season in Singapore. You must remember, we’re in the tropics and we do have seasons. Now snow off course, but a distinct difference in rainfall. So, today I was confronted with one of the most severe thunderstorms I have ever experienced. I was trying to conduct some interviews from home, but The Marbella and surrounding buildings were bombarded by lighting time after time.
I have uploaded some of the pictures of the last weeks onto Flickr to give you an idea. I am especially proud of the lightning picture I took. Just inside the frame of my picture, but when you look at the pictures in front and after this specific one, you can see the lightning develop and fade away.
It was a lucky shot out of a series of maybe 30, but with lighting every minute, you could just set your camera on a tripod and continuously take pictures of the Singapore Skyline and eventually you would capture lightning striking.
