IMG_1025 I wonder why there’s always a stack of concrete or limestone blocks on every construction site prior to the actual building work starting. I have a building site across the street from the office -> concrete blocks and also the site across from where we live, after they finished equalising and preparing the ground -> concrete blocks.

They’re always stacked, sometimes include steel beams, but I think the quantity and height might have something to do with the actual building that is planned. Would it have to do with measuring and testing if the soil can sustain the final building without giving way, is it some kind religious thing…? I have no idea, I only know the blocks are transported away from the site a few days later.
